Varsity Head Coach:  Mike Goodpaster

Coach Goodpaster attended Indiana State University 1987-1988. Began coaching football in 1991 at the Jr.High and High School levels. In was a defensive assistant at the professional arena football level (Northern Kentucky River Monsters) in 2011. then become the head coach at the professional arena football level with the Evansville Rage 2012 with a record of 9-3. In 2013 the Rage moved to Owensboro where the team qualified for the playoffs with a 7-3 record. Then Coach Goodpaster took over partway through the 2014 season as the head coach of the Northern Kentucky River Monsters finishing with a 6-2 record and guided the River Monsters to the conference championship game. For the last 5 years, Coach Goodpaster has coached with the Landmark eagles.

Coach Goodpaster has coached multiple positions at different college camps including Brian Kelly's camp at Cincinnati, Rick Minter's Camp, Terry Hoeppner camp at Miami. He has also organized and ran multiple youth football camps. In the past 10 years, he has coached over 100 NCAA division 1 or 2 players at various positions and 32 that have played in the NFL, or CFL.

Coach Goodpaster has been married to his wife Wendy for 24 years and they have three children Valerie, Austin, and Grant, plus two Grandchildren Lilah and Aerial.

Junior High Coach:  John Bell

Coach John Bell III is entering his second season with Landmark Eagles Christian Football Association. Coach Bell served as an assistant coach of the junior varsity team during the 2019 football season focusing on defense. Coach Bell is excited to start the 2020 football season as Head Coach of the junior varsity team. His love for football began at an early age. There is not a football season that you will not find him engaged in watching, experiencing and expressing his sheer joy and love for the game.

He began playing football in 5th grade while living in Dallas, Texas and continued on throughout high school. Coach Bell attended Princeton Junior High School in Cincinnati, Ohio where he played cornerback and safety then went on to Princeton High School playing safety and tailback.  Coach Bell also played tailback at Wilmington College. Coach Bell received his A.S. in Civil Engineering-Surveying from Cincinnati State along with his Advance Surveying Certificate. He is a land surveyor by profession and enjoys his career. He also attended Eagles Bible Institute where he obtained a certificate in Biblical Leadership & Ministry Principles.

Coach Bell is a man of faith and has been happily married to his lovely wife, Barbara, for 14 years. Coach Bell along his wife are licensed ministers and faithful leaders in their church (Cincinnati Bible Way Church) and in the body of Christ. Coach Bell and his wife Barbara have been blessed with two wonderful children, Nathaniel Bell and Jasmine Bell.


Cheer Coach:  Cheri Bush

Cheri returned last season to coach the Eagles cheer team after doing so previously for 8 years.  She works part-time for American Airlines in Orlando and assists her husband in their landscaping business.  They have four children.
